Crab Catching: a unique experience of watersports in Goa
Crab Catching is considered a rustic activity on a river overseeing rural surroundings, with very little or no human habitation around.
Fishing for crabs happens very creatively with a handmade trap called the ‘cobllem’ in the local language Konkani. The cobllem has a circular metal ring at the opening and a rod running right across the span of the ring. A net to hold the crab is tied to one side of the ring. Crab traps can be best set at high tide cause this increases the probability of a good catch. As the water recedes at low tide, smaller Crabs are visible all around feeding on leftovers. Most of our guest had a good experience in crab catching, so come and enjoy this one of a kind experience.
-
Sunset trip:
Get a closer view of the Sun setting in the Arabian Sea. The scenic views and the overall event is awesomely glorious. The boat leaves the shore a little before sunset. The ride to the sunset spot is always absorbing and leaves you spell-bound. There is splendor all around, and the impending darkness enhances the beauty of the surroundings. The sunset is beyond words and should be lived through, to believe its depths, its grandeur, and its magnificence. We believe that your experience of water sports in Goa is incomplete without Sunset Trip.
Water Sports in monsoon
Who says you cannot have fun in the rain? Oh Yes, You Can.
Are you who are visiting Goa during the off-season or monsoon period? – We are open!
Watersports in Goa during monsoon is carried out in very few places. Goa gets heavy wind and rains during monsoon. As a result, the sea gets very rough, and it becomes dangerous to venture into the Sea. We get our name “Prince of Sal” from River Sal, a salt water river with a unique geographical location connecting to the Arabian Sea. During the monsoons, we shift our activities in the “River Sal” which is calm and very safe for water sports even through the monsoon period.
Water sports in the monsoon is amazing – So come and explore adventure like never before.
